Many Workers Worry About AI

A new report says many workers fear losing their jobs because of AI. In the United Kingdom, about half of workers feel this way. Forty-eight percent said they worry about losing their jobs. Twenty-nine percent said AI tools are already being used where they work. Twenty-six percent said AI has started to do their own tasks. Some workers also worry that AI will be used to watch their work. A different study found that AI tools are being used much more often now. Many companies are careful because they worry about mistakes, safety, and privacy. A global work group says many jobs may change by 2030. It also says many new jobs may appear.
