Australian rock band Powderfinger will go on tour again. The group broke up 17 years before this new tour. Last week, the band said its members were back together. They are very happy to play again. They thanked their old fans. They also have new fans. Many have never seen them play.
The tour starts next September with four shows in Brisbane, the band's home city. Then they will play 14 more shows in Cairns, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Melbourne. All shows will take place in a very large tent. They will play only on Friday and Saturday nights. The band has not announced any shows outside Australia. Other Australian music acts will join them on the tour.
