Model Heidi Klum wore a huge hand costume to her 2026 Halloween party in New York. It looked like her own left hand, with blood on it. It also had her engagement and wedding rings and her tattoo of her husband's name. The team used scans of her body to make the costume.
Klum had the idea last year. She looked at her hand and thought about fitting her body inside a copy of it. Mike Marino helped create the costume. He makes special makeup for unusual looks and worked on several of her earlier costumes.
Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, did not come to the party. He had a concert in Germany. Klum said she wanted to hold hands with him. Her daughter, Leni, dressed as Miss Piggy and wore pig ears, very long eyelashes and purple feathers around her neck.
Actors Kyle MacLachlan and Neil Patrick Harris also came to the party. Harris and his husband, David Burtka, dressed as scary twins. The evening before, Klum welcomed a small group to her pizza restaurant in New York's Soho neighborhood. She wore an orange dress and black boots there.
