Binance is the biggest crypto exchange in the world. It applied for a license in Greece so it could keep working in the European Union. But the plan may fail. If that happens, Binance could lose the right to serve customers in the EU from the start of July.
The EU has new rules for crypto companies. These rules say companies need a license by the end of June. One license from one EU country can work in all 27 countries.
Binance says it wants the process to go smoothly. It also says it has worked with regulators for about 18 months. The company says it has not received an official notice that its request was turned down. It plans to give a new update before June 30, 2026.
