Airlines want to improve travel in their more expensive seats. They work with famous cooks to offer better meals. These changes do not need new seats. New seats can take years to plan, check, and put into planes. Airlines can change their menus in months.
Airlines use these meals to attract people who spend more on travel. Some cooks bring awards and famous names. This idea is not new. Singapore Airlines started Book the Cook in 1998. People in its more expensive seats can order meals before their flight. The International Culinary Panel chooses the meals.
