Swedish TV company TV4 lost the finished season of its version of The Challenge. This happened about five weeks before its planned start on November 22. TV4 now plans to show it in 2027. The show tests people's bodies and minds. Players also work together in groups.
The newspaper Aftonbladet said an AI program deleted the season. This kind of program can do jobs and change files. The newspaper did not name the people who gave it this information. TV4 said a computer problem caused the loss. It later said AI did not cause it.
TV4 still has all the original videos. But the team must choose and put the video parts together again. It cannot get the finished season back.
