Australian rock band Powderfinger will play together again. They split up 17 years before this new tour. The band will start with four shows in Brisbane, their home city, next September.
They will then play 14 more shows in Cairns, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. All shows will take place in a very large tent. The band will play only on Friday and Saturday nights. They have not announced any shows outside Australia.
The band members are very happy to return. People asked them to tour again for years, but the time did not feel right. They thank their old fans for their support. They also have new fans who have never seen them play.
