Payton Obert received a teddy bear during a hard time as a young child. It helped her feel better. At eight, she wanted to help other children. She started a lemonade stand in 2018. She raised $768 to buy toys for children in hospitals.
Her idea grew. Children now sell lemonade to help children and families in need. The group gives toys, food, clothes, books, and school supplies. Its help over eight years is worth $5 million.
In 2025, children ran 100 lemonade stands. They raised $150,000 in just three hours. In 2026, the stands raised $170,000. The small stand became a much bigger way to help others.
