Viking welcomed seven new river ships at a naming event in Amsterdam. The holiday company now has 109 ships. It has more ships than any other cruise company. However, its ships are smaller. Some other companies carry more people each year.
Four of the new ships will travel on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers in Europe. Two will travel on the Nile in Egypt. One will travel on the Seine in France. Only two of the seven ships were in Amsterdam for the event.
Viking's trips are only for adults. No one under 18 can join them. The company gives passengers time to explore the places they visit. It also includes tours at every stop.
