Samantha Rensvold joined a new family as a baby. She knew she had a sister but had never met her. On 1 August 2025, she played softball in Montana. A teammate noticed another player looked like her.
The player was Kyann Dean. Samantha's mother knew her sister's name was Kyann. The two mothers talked. They checked the girls' birth mother's name and their hospital. Both were the same. The sisters were happy to meet.
Their brother had found Samantha years before. Both sisters also played volleyball at school. They played in the same place and wore the same number. Now they study at colleges in different states. They plan to spend time together. Samantha feels happy to know her sister.
