Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal is 54. He has about $500 million, but he still wants to learn. He has four university degrees. Now he is studying for a fifth at Sacramento State University. He is learning about crime.
O’Neal left university to play basketball as his job. He promised his mother to return and finish his studies. He later kept that promise. He wants his children to see that learning is for everyone, at any age.
He says university teaches people to work hard, work together and finish things. He also uses computer tools that answer questions. But he says these tools cannot replace experience. He thinks meeting people and asking them questions is still important.
