Workers finished repairing a dam in August. It now holds more water and supplies it more regularly during the dry months. The village manages the dam. UN groups and other partners support the project.
Mr Ouattara leads the local group of people who keep cattle. He says people now talk together and argue less. Ms Traoré grows vegetables. With more water, she grows them on more land. Her work helps her send her children to school.
