Heidi Klum appears as a giant hand at Halloween party

The model's 2026 Halloween costume copied her own left hand, including her rings and a tattoo of her husband's name.

Heidi Klum arrived at her annual Halloween party in New York in 2026 wearing a giant, bloody hand costume. The design was an enlarged copy of the model's own left hand, rather than an imaginary one.

According to Vogue, body scans were used to create its shape. The costume included her engagement and wedding rings, as well as the tattoo of her husband Tom Kaulitz's name. Special effects make-up artist Mike Marino, who had worked on several of her previous costumes, helped bring the idea to life.

Klum said the idea came to her last year when she looked at her hand and imagined fitting her body inside it. Kaulitz, who often joins her in unusual costumes, missed this year's party because he had a concert in Germany.

Her daughter Leni attended as Miss Piggy, wearing pig ears, oversized false eyelashes and a purple feather boa. Guests also included actors Kyle MacLachlan and Neil Patrick Harris. Harris and his husband David Burtka appeared as a pair of frightening twins.

The evening before the party, Klum welcomed a small group to her pizza restaurant in New York's Soho neighbourhood. For that occasion, she wore an orange dress and black boots instead of the hand costume.
