The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Rays 5–4 in Game 2 of the World Series. Milwaukee came back after falling four runs behind. In baseball, teams score points called runs. This was Milwaukee's second win from four runs behind during these play-offs.
Sal Frelick hit a home run in the sixth part of the game. He sent the ball over the field's outer wall and made the score 4–4. Rays pitcher Ian Seymour threw nine pitches to him before his turn ended with that hit. Cooper Pratt later delivered the final blow.
Frelick hit only four home runs during the regular season. He also hurt his right shoulder and missed six weeks. After he returned, he played less often. His manager, Pat Murphy, praised his strong belief in himself.
Frelick said he felt almost unable to think clearly after his home run. But he remembered that the teams were level, and Milwaukee was not ahead. The series now moves to Tropicana Field. The Brewers have a chance to win their first World Series title.
