New York Comic Con 2026 offered television audiences a mixture of approaching conclusions and introductions to new fictional worlds. Marvel confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will conclude with its third season, which begins with its central hero in prison. Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones joined the panel to present an action-focused preview. Cox also encouraged fans to revive the campaign to save Daredevil, underscoring his own disappointment at the series’ impending conclusion.
At the Star Trek panel, attention turned to Starfleet Academy, making its final voyage. The franchise also marked its 60th anniversary.
Blade Runner 2099, meanwhile, introduced its setting through an immersive attraction ahead of its November arrival on Prime Video. Visitors encountered filming props and performers portraying replicants before undergoing a fictional intake test and simulated memory transfer. The experience echoed protagonist Cora’s efforts to disguise herself among replicants at the LAPD. Fans could also pose beside a car used in production and download their newly implanted memory, extending the fictional encounter beyond the attraction itself.
