Avengers: Doomsday runs into trouble in editing

Avengers: Doomsday is facing problems after filming began before the script was complete. The film is still set for release on 18 December 2026.

Avengers: Doomsday is reportedly facing a crisis during editing. The film had already started shooting when the script was still not finished, and that decision now seems to be causing serious problems.

People close to the production say the film feels messy. One reason may be its large cast, with nearly 60 characters to bring together in a clear and smooth way.

The film is part of a strong year for Marvel, which also includes Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In Doomsday, Sam Wilson leads a new Avengers team, alongside the Thunderbolts, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Wakandans, against Doctor Doom. It is due to be released on 18 December 2026.
