New York Comic Con 2026 combined television announcements with opportunities to explore familiar fictional worlds. At Marvel's presentation, fans learned that Daredevil: Born Again would conclude with its third season, which opens with its central crimefighter in prison. Charlie Cox appeared alongside Krysten Ritter and Finn Jones to preview the darker chapter. Responding to the approaching conclusion, Cox encouraged fans to renew the campaign to save Daredevil.
Star Trek's presentation similarly looked towards a farewell, with Starfleet Academy making its final voyage. The franchise also marked its 60th anniversary.
Blade Runner 2099, meanwhile, offered an interactive introduction before its November arrival on Prime Video. Visitors followed an experience inspired by protagonist Cora's efforts to disguise herself among replicants at the Los Angeles Police Department. After inspecting props and a vehicle used during filming, participants underwent a fictional intake test conducted by actors. A simulated memory-transfer procedure followed, allowing visitors to watch their new memory on a monitor and download it afterwards.
